When you think of cosmetic dentistry, what comes to mind? A flashy smile? A perfectly straight row of teeth? A dazzling set of pearly whites? While all these things are possible with the right cosmetic dentistry treatment, and they sure look nice, they aren’t always necessary. In fact, sometimes the best way to enhance your smile is to fix something that isn’t broken but could be better. That’s where tooth bonding comes in: It’s a simple procedure meant to repair small chips or gaps in your teeth rather than make them bigger or change their shape.

When Do You Need Dental Crowns in Lauderdale by the Sea FL
When it comes to your teeth, you want to make sure they’re in the best shape possible. That’s why you see your dentist regularly and take care of them at home with regular brushing, flossing, and other habits. But sometimes even with all that care going into keeping your mouth healthy and cavity-free, there are still times when you need something more. When do you need dental crowns? Here are some common signs that indicate you should consider getting Dental Crowns in Lauderdale by the Sea FL:
The Future of Smile Restoration is Dental Implants in Fort Lauderdale
Implants are the way of the future. But they are more and more becoming common place. It’s a service that is provided by more and more dentists every year. Implants are, in most cases, the best way to replace an existing tooth. They’re the closest thing to recreating your natural smile. In cases where patients have a missing tooth, the benefit of placing an implant versus doing a bridge or possibly doing a partial denture, is that you do not have to touch either tooth, in front or in back of that missing space as you would with a bridge.
What to Expect from Your Cosmetic Dentist in Lauderdale by the Sea
Everyone needs a good dentist. It is vital to your overall health to maintain good oral health and keep your teeth healthy. While you can do your part to eat well, use good oral hygiene, you still need to partner with a good dentist. Your dentist in Lauderdale by the Sea will be able to clean your teeth in the way that only a dentist can, and prevent the buildup of bacteria that can lead to disease and decay. Your dentist will also be able to help you customize your oral hygiene routine so that you are doing all you can to maximize your oral health.
If You Are Not Happy with Your Smile, Maybe You Need a Smile Makeover
While a Smile Makeover may not necessarily be a term unique to our office, what is unique is the way it is performed. We are concerned about the health of your teeth, as well as their outward appearance. When you schedule an appointment with our office, we will evaluate both the appearance of your teeth and their overall health.
When Over the Counter Whitening Doesn’t Work, You Need Professional Teeth Whitening
The teeth whitening process begins by taking an impression of the top teeth and an impression of the bottom teeth. We then make the actual bleaching trays which are like little plastic molds of your teeth that fit around the teeth. We provide the patient with the bleaching trays once they’re made, and we provide them with bleaching gel as well.
The bleaching gel is typically worn by the patient for two weeks, for between an hour and three hours every night, before they go to bed. They will apply the gel into the actual bleaching tray. In two weeks time, they’ll notice a major difference in the shade of their teeth.

JJ Dental Specializes in Delivering the Most Natural Crowns in Fort Lauderdale
A Crown can be made from different materials but all serve the same functions. Crowns can be all porcelain, gold, metal, or porcelain fused to metal. Teeth in the front usually utilize a crown that is porcelain fused to metal. The metal acts as a substructure giving the crown more resistance to fracture, with an outer layer of porcelain. You have the strength of the metal, but then you also have the aesthetics of porcelain.
Is Invisalign Orthodontic Treatment from JJ Dental Right for You?
Orthodontic treatment is the process of moving the teeth within the socket, within the bone to reposition them in a more hygienic and aesthetically pleasing way and in many cases a more functional way.
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that utilizes a set of aligners made from hard plastic. The aligners fit over the teeth and are designed by a computer with digital software to slowly, over time, reposition the teeth. The rigidity in the Invisalign plastic material is what allows for the pushing, torquing, or moving of the teeth to a more ideal position.

Insurance & Financing
At JJ Dental our insurance specialists deal directly with your insurance providers.
A thorough breakdown of your benefits allows us to give you the most accurate coverage estimate possible. Based on this information we can provide you with a plan that maximizes your benefits and minimizes your out of pocket expense. Once treatment has begun we will even submit the insurance claims on your behalf to eliminate any headaches for you. (See Accepted Insurance)
While a majority of insurance plans will cover a large percentage of preventative and restorative care, they rarely cover cosmetic procedures. For any procedures not covered or beyond your plans maximum benefit, we provide several payment options including cash, check, money order, and major credit cards. We also offer flexible, no interest monthly installment plans through care credit and lending club that help you get the treatment you need without a financial burden.
We believe that there are three main considerations that you should be aware of when choosing a dentist.
Does the dentist care deeply about you and your dental health?
Is the dentist skilled enough to consistently provide the highest quality of dental care?
Does the dentist have the team and the tools available to provide you with the highest quality of care?
At JJ Dental our entire team is proud to be able to answer yes to each of these critical questions.
